Community Rise

Volunteers are the backbone of our efforts. We engage volunteers in a variety of roles—mentoring, community outreach, organizing events, and more—to ensure that our programs reach as many people as possible.  Learn more about our history and how we got started. We regularly host events that bring together local businesses, schools, and organizations to raise awareness about the issues facing individuals affected by incarceration. These events serve as both educational tools and opportunities for people to get involved. There are many ways to get involved with Unburdened Heart. Attend one of our events, become a member, or volunteer your time. We'd love to have you on board!
